He has showcased his poetic talent by crafting compelling verses for brands and organisations such as Ferrari, Amazon, Formula 1, City of Culture, BBC, Herbert Art Gallery, Warwick University, Coventry University, Virgin London Marathon and Apples and Snakes.

In addition to his remarkable poetry, John's literary prowess extends to the world of theatre and performance. He has achieved the honour of having two monologues published by Oberon Books, featuring in a collection of over 80 original audition pieces exclusively written for actors of colour. This significant achievement reflects both his exceptional writing skills and his dedication to promoting diversity and representation in the performing arts. He has also written a poetry show alongside Poet Denzel Kira called ‘Generation App’ which was premiered at Warwick Art Centre.

John's talent has also been recognized on a grand scale, as he was commissioned to create pieces for the prestigious Coventry Moves opening ceremony, a prominent event during the City of Culture festivities.
